Tingathe Graduates 124 from Children’s Life Skills Program

Today has been an exciting day for us as we celebrated the graduation of our Children’s Life Skills Program in Mtandire, Lilongwe! A total of 124 children completed the program. Throughout their time with us, the children learned invaluable skills in self-awareness and personal development, communication and interpersonal skills, decision-making and problem-solving, health and well-being, career and goal setting, civics and social engagement, road safety and traffic awareness, as well as environment and nature exploration, including arts and crafts. The purpose of the program is to help the children become responsible citizens as they grow up so that they can effectively participate in the development of the country.

We were privileged to have Eunice Kaimila, the principal of Adziwa Christian School, as our guest of honour. In her speech, she encouraged the children to use the skills they have learned to develop their lives and communities, stressing that the future of the country lies in their hands.

Tingathe would like to thank our facilitators for doing a great job teaching these children. We are proud of their dedication and hard work. We also extend our gratitude to all our partners who supported us throughout this program. Congratulations to all the participants!
